Mysterium Vocis

Founded in 1992 by M° Rosario Totaro, the choir dedicated itself to the re-discovery of out of practice neapolitan traditional sacred music from the XVII and XVIII centuries, presenting the first modern performance of music by Cafaro, Jommelli, Sala and particularly Pietrantonio Gallo, along with concerts and conferences supported by the Musical Association Mysterium Voices, who sustains the choir.
The group has a vast repertoire, including pieces form XVI and XVII centuries a cappella music, “alla napoletana” villanellas, baroque melodramas (Purcell) and contemporary pieces, qith a particular attention to neapolitan authors such as Gaetano Panariello.
