The EquiVoci Ensemble was born in 2013 and is formed by singers coming from different paths and musical experiences in the choral, vocal and instrumental fields.
Although the formation is typical of ancient music, the desire is to create a continuity of intentions and proposals that goes beyond time limits. For this reason, the Text is a key element for the repertoire choices, in order to always find the right compromise between the word and every type of musical proposal.
Among the most important concerts we can find a performance in the “Parole e Musica” Festival (San Salvatore), the concert “La vecchia sede” (Casalcermelli) and “Musica nei choistri” in the Busoni Center of Musical Studies (Empoli).
In 2015 the Ensemble competed for the 6th “Lago Maggiore” National Polyphonic Choral Competition, winning the 2nd prize for the Vocal Ensembles category and the Feniarco Special Prize.
