In 1983 he started his musical studies at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, where he got in 1987 the Composition diploma, with Maestri I. Bianchi, D. Bartolucci, V. Tosatti, L. Bucci e G.B. Baroffio. Later he got the Gregorian Chant diploma and increased the Renaissance Music studies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He assumed in 1993 the Composition chair at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome; he taught Musical Literature and Musical Theory at the Music Academy since 1998. He is a Researcher at the Science and Arts Slovenian Academy (SAZU, Slovenia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He teaches Vocal and Organ Composition, Polyphonic Semiology, Musical Literature, Harmony, at the Ljubljana University Musical Academy (Slovenia).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has written compositions for different kind of ensemble: mixed choir and orchestra, choir, children choir, double choir and orchestra, instrumental ensemble (string quartet, piano, solo instruments).
