He also studied Sacred Music and Organ, Musicology, Philosophy and Germanistic at Bonn University, where he obtained the Philosophy Degree discussing a dissertation over Arnold Mendelssohn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He worked at first as Official Cantor and Organist in L\u03cbnen (Westfalia), then as Orchestra Leader in Hamm. Later he collaborated as Choir Conductor at the Hallescher Philarmonie and at the Robert-Franz-Singakademie in Halle an der Saale and as University Musical Director in Saarbr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2000 he was University Musical Director, Artistic Practice and (until 2006) Conduction teacher in Koblenz-Landau, where he conducted the University Choir and Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was, at the same time, Musical Director at the International Festival \u201cJacques Offenbach\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He worked as Conductor with the Philarmonische Staatsorchester di Halle, the Bochumer Sinfoniker, the W\u03cbrttembergische Sinfoniker and, during the \u201cMusikfestspiele Saar\u201d, the \u201cNew London Consort\u201d with the \u201cDido and Aeneas\u201d by Purcell.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He often collaborates with the Kaliningrad Symphonic Orchestra, the Lipetzk State Orchestra and the Vorone\u017e State Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He conducted famous German Choirs as the Duisburg-Gro\u03b2enbaum Cantory on the USA tour, the Schwerte Musical Association Choir, the Saarland University Chamber Choir, And the Bonner Bachgemeinschaft Choir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">B\u00f6hme collaborated with foreign choirs too, especially in the Russian Federation (Vorone\u017e Pedagogical University Chamber Choir, Jelez Philharmonic Choir, Lipetzk Philharmonic Children Choir), in Italy (Coro della Polifonica Materana), France and Scandinavia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is the founder and Artistic Director of the S\u03cbdWestDeutsche Vokalensemble and of the Koblenz Jungen Chor.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Germany &#8211; Koblenz J\u00fcrgen B\u00f6hme studied Conduction in Colonia with Henning Frederichs and at the GMD Volker Wangenheim.
