<\/a>The Choir \u201cAd Dei laudem\u201d, founder of the Regional Choral Association of Sicily (ARS-Cori) and Feniarco member, is among the oldest and long-running choirs in Sicily.
\nThe repertoire includes pieces from the origins of polyphony to contemporary music, with particular attention to famous XV-XX century composers\u2019s music, e.g. Palestrina, Da Victoria, Puccini, Verdi, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Perosi, Mascagni, Morricone, Whitacre, Lauridsen, Mignemi, Poulenc, Durufl\u00e8, Barber, Sandstrom, Bettinelli, Gjeilo.
\nLatest important activities:
\n\u2022 2000: performance of Carmina Burana with the direction of M\u00b0 Sebastian Korn;
\n\u2022 2011 and 2013: performance of Mozart\u2019s Requiem (for solo voices, chorus and orchestra) in the cathedrals od Acireale, Siracusa, Catania and Lentini;
\n\u2022 2012: performance of Vivaldi\u2019s Gloria RV589 (for solo voices, chorus and orchestra);
\n\u2022 2015: presentation concert of the CD \u201cC\u2019era una volta a Nuvena\u201d, with the artist from Lentini Alfio Antico;
\n\u2022 2016: performance of Rossini\u2019s Petite Messe Solennelle (for solo voices, chorus, piano and harmonium);
\n\u2022 2016: Oscar concert with a Hommage to Ennio Morricone, performing music by Morricone, Piovani, Vangelis and Rota.

\n\u2022 2008: Competition in Alessandria della Rocca (AG): special prize for new music;
\n\u2022 2008: Citt\u00e0 di Polizzi Generosa National Competition (PA): 1st place and ARS-Cori Prize as best sicilian choir.
