The Associazione Coro Casella was founded in 1984 by a group of young people driven by the passion for choral music. The Choir participated in national and international competitions, achieving: 1st place at the “Zimarino” Competition (Vasto); 4th place at the “Guido d’Arezzo” National Competition (Arezzo); 1st place at the National Competition of Porto Empedocle as well as best performance of the compulsory piece and Best Director (2003); gold medal at the Praga Cantat International Competition (Prague); 2nd place at the Città di Pienza Competition; 3rd place at the “Tosato” Competition (Anguillara); 4th place at the Città di Fermo Competition (2012). The Choir collaborated with the Medieval Music Ensemble Antica Consonanza in 2002, with the New Scarlatti Orchestra in 2006, with Maestro Lorenzo Donati in 2009. It promotes the organization of musical stages and events. It attended the courses “Le voci del 900” with Berrini, Busto, Donati and Kuret. The Choir realized many exhibitions and events in Italy and abroad.
