The Ensemble Vocale di Roma is an amateur vocal group born in 1990.
It carries out its concert activity without profit motive in order to connect its voice to that of the people in the variegated umanity choir who demonstrate their faith in art, love, life, peace and solidarity.
Selecting its repertoire, the Ensemble tries to pay attention to poetry in music as well as exhibition places, which often are places of artistic interest and rare availability.
The group interests are mainly oriented to secular music from Reneissance to contemporary music.
Even though it prefers modern and contemporary cultured musical expressions, they love to have fun and entertain with usual “raids” in lighter music ranges, such as jazz and pop.
During its activity, the Ensemble recorded for RAI Radio 3 (the third Italian radio channel, ndt), collaborating in the making of the anthologic CD Il Canto corale nel Lazio (Choral singing in Lazio, ndt) and took part in numerous events, sometimes with gratifying results.
