Conductor, choirmaster and teacher, Nicole Corti founded the Irigny music school. In 1993, she was appointed choirmaster and educational leader at Notre-Dame de Paris. In 2008, she becomes choirmaster teacher at the CNSMD (National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance) of Lyon, an institution where she devoted herself to the training of the next generation of professional choirmaster. In 1981, she created the Chœur Britten, which has reached an international renown thanks to numerous concerts in Europe and in the United-States, often followed by masterclasses. Nicole Corti’s work has been recognised twice by the Academy of Fine Arts Liliane Bettencourt Prize.
