Coro Polifonico di Ruda

The Choir was founded in the 30s and since then it conducts an intense international concert activity, alternating a cappella repertoires to repertoires with smallers ensembles and big orchestras.
The Choir is conducted by Fabiana Noro since 2003; in 2004, it won four First Prized in the “Città di Vittorio Veneto” Choral Competition. In April 2005 the Choir won the First Prize in the Tallin International Competition (Estonia) and in August the Second Prize at the International Choral Competition in Arezzo.
In 2007 the Choir won the First Prize at the “A. Bruckner” International Competition in Linz (Austria): in that contest Fabiana Noro was awarded as Best Conductor.
In 2007 the Choir won the First Absolute Prize in its category at the World Choir Games in Graz; in 2009 it won the First Prize and the Schubert Prize at the 26th “F. Schubert” International Competition in Wien, while in 2010 the Choir reconfirmed the Golden Medal at the World Choir Games in Shaoxing (China).
In 2013 the Choir won the Third Prize at the first International Competition in Derry (Ireland). In 2015 it won three First Prizes at Malaga International Competition, where Fabiana Noro was awarded again as Best Conductor.
Spain continued to award the Choir as in 2016 it won five First Prizes, including a new award as Best Conductor for Fabiana Noro, at the 6th International Competition in Barcelona/Lloret de Mar.
The Choir has always been attentive to the recovery of choral music for male voices only; it recently realised three monographic CDs, respectively dedicated to folclore, romantic and contemporary music.
The Choir appeared as main character in a docufiction produced by Tico Film and was requested to participate in other two upcoming films.
For some years the Choir intensified the collaboration to film soundtracks.
